- Howdy, my name is George Van Orsdel, and I started doing my Monster Spookshow Radio podcast in June of 2008 for fun. They originally started as a collection of songs I put together for my own personal enjoyment on my iPod, covering all genres, Punk, Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Surf, Classic Rock and of course all the great novelty stuff from every decade, but my friends kept asking me to share with them, so I decided I'd just start posting them online. ReplyDeleteWasn't there another Halloween episode in which Fonzie spent Halloween in the children's ward of a hospital due to tonsilitis. He told the kids a scary story. Maybe I made that up :)

ReplyDeleteyou are absolutely right. It was episode #92, in season 5 (1977). The episode was called "Fonsillectomy", in which Fonzie has to have his tonsils removed, therefore missing the Cunningham's Halloween Party and has to spend the night in the children's ward because it's the only available space in the hospital. Great episode as well, although I'm a huge Happy Days fan so they are all great to me!
P.S., there was also another Halloween episode of Happy Days in season 6, titled "The Evil Eye", when Al thinks he's had a spell put on him, so the gang puts on a fake exorcism to get rid of the demons...another classic episode.
ReplyDeleteFinally got a chance to watch this tonight. Really took me back! I used to LOVE this show. And as far as Halloween episodes go, it's got it all: a haunted house, skeleton costume, jack o' lanterns, Demons, coffins, ghosts. Really really great. THANK YOU!
