HAPPY BIRTHDAY LON CHANEY Sr.!

Today we celebrate the birthday of horrordom's one and only "Man of 1,000 Faces", Lon Chaney Sr. The acting and make-up genius who brought us such classic characters as The Phantom Of The Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and the vampire from the long-lost film, London After Midnight. Lon Chaney Sr. was born in April 1, 1883, and died at the age of 47 from bronchial lung cancer, but not before acting in over 158 films. Lon Chaney Sr. was also the father of Lon Chaney Jr., The Wolfman. Read all about Lon Chaney Sr.'s amazing life and career on his Wikipedia page! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LON!
